Amoxil (Generic)

Amoxil (Amoxicillin) is a penicillin like antibiotic.

Take Amoxicillin capsules with a glass of water in an upright position. Amoxil can be taken with or without food.

Convulsions
Nausea
Hives
Unusal bleeding
Diarrhea
Wheezing
Sore throat
Itching or skin irritation
Scratchy throat

Inform your health care professional if you experience any of the above mentioned symptoms or notice any other unusal symptoms which are persistent.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin or any other antibiotic or any other medication.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Inform your doctor if you have any kind of Kidney diseases, Allergies, Asthma, or Phenylketonuria or have suffered from any other similar diseases before.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double doses. Maintain an interval of at least 6 to 8 hours between 2 doses or as directed by your physician.

Amoxil stops or kills the growth of infection causing bacteria. It treats a range of infections like STDs, UTIs, skin and ear infections, respiratory infections.

Store at room temperature between 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F).

Inform your healthcare professional if your are diabetic as this medication can cause a false change in the sugar results. Keep all appointments with your laboratory and doctor.
