Imiquimod belongs to a class of drugs known as biological response modifiers.
Depending on the condition you are being treated for, your doctor would suggest dosage and usage. Consult your doctor and use exactly as directed. Wash your hands before and after application throughly.
Flaking/Burning of the skin
Swelling/Pain in the area of application
Skin Eruptions/Color change
Headache/Fever
Muscle Weakness/Pain
Fungal infection, inform your doctor if you experience any of these side effects and if they are too severe or persistent.
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to imiquimod or any other medication in any other form. Also inform your doctor if you are taking any other medication in any other form whilst taking this medicine.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Also if you have any surgery or medical treatment for any skin conditions, inform your doctor about the same, prior to starting treatment with this medicine.
As per your doctors advice, apply your next dose as directed, do not double applications to make up for a missed one. Follow the schedule as directed by your doctor.
This cream is used in treatment of warts on the skin and the anal and genital areas. This cream is not a cure and new warts may appear during the course of this treatment.

Store at room temperature below 25 degrees C (77 degrees F), away from heat and light, do not freeze.
This medicaiton is for external use only. Avoid sexual contact of any kind while the cream is on treatment areas, consult your doctor for further information.
Do not cover the treatment area(s) with bandages or any type of dressing unless specially informed by your doctor to do so.
