Anatrazole belongs to a class of medications known as aromatase inhibitors.
How to use
This tablet is usually swallowed whole with a glass of water.
Anastrazole maybe taken with or with out food.
Side Effects
If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
Hot flashes
Weight gain
Appetite loss
Back/bone pain
Vomiting/nausea
Vaginal bleeding
Leg pain/swelling
Dizziness/headache
Cough/throat infection
New/unusual symptoms
Sweating/weakness/tiredness
Difficulty breathing/chest pain
Diarrhea/constipation/stomach pain
Drug Interaction
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.
DHEA
Androstenedione
Estrogens containing medicine(s) (these include herbal products and birth control pills)
Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.
Over Dose
In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Contact your paediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.
Missed Dose
Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Consult your health care professional about your missed dose.

Anastrazole is used in the treatment of breast cancer in post menopausal women.

Storage
Store at room temperature between 60 to 77 degrees F (22 to 25 degrees C) away from heat and moisture.
Precaution
Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had Liver Disease.
If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
