Celecoxib is used in treatment of Arthritis.

Celecoxib is available in form of a tablet to be taken by mouth. In case, if taking Celecoxib causes stomach upset then take it with food. Take Celebrex exactly as directed. Do not change the dose or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.

Long term or continuous usage of Celecoxib may increase the risk of heart attack / stroke.

Signs of bleeding from the stomach e.g. blood in the urine or stool
Blurred vision
Hives or Severe itching
Difficulty in swallowing
Difficulty in breathing or wheezing

And any other symptoms that you notice should be immediately reported to your health care professional.

Inform your health care professional if you are allergic to celecoxib or any other medication and also inform your health care professional if you are taking any other medication during the course of this therapy in any form.

If overdose is suspected, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

You need to keep all appointments with your doctor.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

Celecoxib is relieves the pain, tenderness, inflammation (swelling) and stiffness caused by arthritis.

Store at room temperature between 15—30 degrees C (59—86 degrees F), in a cool dry place.

Do not treat yourself for any condition. Always consult your health care professional. If you are taking blood thinners in any form inform your doctor about the same.

It is very important not to use celecoxib during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless health care provider has specifically directed you to as it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery.
