This medicine is taken orally (by mouth). Swallow whole with a glass of water. Consult your doctor on any special dietary instructions. Take exactly as directed.

Fever
Diarrhea
Severe Rash
Vomiting/Nausea
Breathing Difficulties
Blood in Urine/Stool
Seizures/Convulsions
Unusual Bleeding/Bruising

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Alcohol
NSAIDs
Vitamin B12
Cyclosporine
Erythromycin
Clarithromycin
Cyanocobalamin
Anti Inflammatory Drugs

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Contact a pediatrician for the use of this medicine in children.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to concieve.

If you concieve whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

This medicine treats painful swelling due to gouty arthiritis and is also used regularly to prevent gout or gouty arthiritis attacks.

Store at room temperature between 15 degrees and 30 degrees C, away from heat and moisture.
