Uses

Coreg is used to treat heart failure in combination with other medication.

How To Use

Take exactly as directed by your prescriber, swallow whole with a glass of water.

If being prescribed for a child consult your pediatrician for dosages and directions on how to use.

Overdose

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 15 degrees and 30 degrees C (59 degrees and 86 degrees F), away from heat and moisture.

Interaction

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any medication in any form and if you are taking any other medication of any nature while taking a course of this medication.

Missed Dose

Do not double dose to make up for a missed dose, take your next dose as scheduled and inform your doctor about the same.

Precaution

If you are diabetic inform your doctor you are taking this medication, as it affects blood sugar levels.

Keep a regular check on your pulse rate, blood pressure and weight. Do not stop taking this medication all of a sudden, as it could lead to serious heart related effects.

Notes

If your pulse is faster or slower than it should be, call your doctor. You need to keep all appointments with your doctor.

Alcoholic beverages are best avoided during the course of this medication.

Inform your doctor you are on this medication if you have to go in for any kind of surgery.
