Femara (Letrozole) is an aromatease inhibitor.

Consult your health care professional and take as directed. This medicne can be taken with or without food; to be swallowed whole with a glass of water.

Weight gain
Loss of hair
Hot flashes
Chest pain
Tiredness
Headache
Sweating
Skin rash

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Estrogen containing medicine which may include some herbal products
Androstenedione
DHEA

Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :

Liver disease
Osteoporosis

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

This medicine is used for treating of breast cancer in women who are post menopausal.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Store at room temperature between 59 to 86 degrees F, away from heat and moisture.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Do not treat yourself with any OTC medication without consulting your health care professional.
