Haloperidol is an anti psychotic medication.

Consult a paediatrician for the use of this medicine in children.

Swallow whole with a glass of water and take exactly as directed. This medicine maybe taken with or without food.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

Loss of Balance
Vision Difficulties
Menstrual Changes
Decreased Sexual Ability
Unusual amount of lactation
Uncontrollable Muscle Spasms
Difficulty in speaking/swallowing/ breathing

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Dopamine
Water pills
Epinephrine
Barbiturates
Benztropine
Cabergoline
Dicyclomine
Carbamazepine
Pain medicines
Doxercalciferol
Allergy Medicines
Medicines to control heart rate
Medicines for mental problems
Medicines for fungal infections
Medicines for high blood pressure
Medicines for Parkinson's disease
Medicines for inducing sleep disorders/treating seizures

Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Head injury
Lung disease
Heart disease
Breast cancer
Blood disease
Prostate trouble
Tobacco smoker
Low blood calcium
Parkinson's disease
Over-active thyroid
Difficulty passing urine

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

This medicine is used in the treatment of psychotic disorders such as halluciantions, delusions, hostility. It is also used to treat children with severe behavioral problems.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C, away from heat and moisture.

Avoid alcoholic drinks.

Avoid extreme temperatures.

Do not treat yourself with OTC medicines without consulting your doctor first.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.
