Uses

Timolol opthalmic drops are used to treat high pressure and open angle glaucoma in the eyes.

How To Use

Use these eye drops exactly as prescribed by your health care professional.

Contact your paediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children.

Inform your health care professional if you wear contact lenses.

Side Effects

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

changes in blood sugar
cold hands/feet
confusion/hallucinations
difficulty breathing/wheezing
difficulty sleeping
dizziness/fainting spells
irregular heartbeat
nightmares
palpitations/chest pain
peeling skin
skin rash/itching
slow heart rate
swelling of the legs/ankles

Overdose

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Storage

Store at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from heat and moisture.

Interaction

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Missed Dose

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

Do not treat yourself with OTC medication whilst on a course with this medication, without consulting with your health care professional.

diabetes
heart/blood vessel disease(slow heart rate, worsening heart failure, heart block, sick sinus syndrome)
lung disease like asthma or emphysema
Raynaud's disease
thyroid disease
