Ventolin Inhaler (Generic)

Albuterol belongs to a class of medications called beta-agonists.

Contact a pediatrician for the use of this medication in children.

This medication is to be used by inhalation through the mouth. Shake the inhaler well before each use. Consult your doctor on how to use the inhaler and use exactly as directed. Always replace the inhaler protective cap after each use.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

Dry mouth
Palpitations
Severe Rash
Throat Irritation
Nosebleed
Tremors
Dizziness

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

MAO Inhibitors
Anti Depressants
Steroid Hormones
Weight Loss Medication
Diuretics

Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medication for any condition in any form whilst starting a course with this medication.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to concieve or are breast feeding.

If you think you have concieved whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

Your inhaler mouthpiece should be cleaned at least once a week with warm water and dried completey.

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

It is used to treat breathing diffculties due to lung diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema.

Store albuterol aerosol inhalation canisters at controlled room temperature, preferably between 15—30 degrees C (59—86 degrees F). Do not freeze.
